==Ang mga generators, para magsynchronize, ay kailangan magkaroon ng pareparehong FREQUENCY, VOLTAGE at tamang phasing para umandar.
SYNCHRONIZATION: pagpreprepare sa generator para madaling maikonek sa grid o supply ng kuryente sa MERALCO. Dapat mas mataas nang kaunti ang frequency ng genset. Sa ganitong paraan, madaling pagtagpuin ang setting ng kuryente galing sa generator at sa utility company at madaling makakapasok ang supply ng MERALCO.
Pero paano pag nagkakaroon ng kaunting problema sa isa sa mga gensets.
REVERSE POWER?!!? (?ghslfh?!I)
Ang reverse power ay nangyayari lamang kung ang isa sa mga genset ay nagkakaroon ng issue sa prime mover. Hindi nakakaikot nang maayos ang motor, naghahabol ng TORQUE.
Kaya ang nangyayari, napipilitang magtrip ang BREAKER.
Sa isang synchronized na genset, ang boltahe at frequency ay nakalock sa isa't isa. Sakaling may gumalaw o isa na naiba, nahihirapan ang prime mover na umikot kaya nagrereverse power.
SOLUTION:
Sa synchronizing panel, dapat iMANUAL MODE muna ang setting tapos pindutin ang (I/O), sa ganitong paraan, pwede nang MARESET ANG GENSET NANG HINDI PINAPATAY ang ENGINE MANUALLY, tapos balik ulit sa AUTO MODE. In short, sa command na lang idadaan. Ngunit, ito'y kadalasang nangyayari sa mg TEST RUN la-ang.. Pag may load na, ibang usapan na po yun, bawal na bawal magreverse power ang may load. (haruy)
Pag ACTUAL NA NAGPOWER FAILURE at nagreverse power, dapat KAAGAD mapaandar ang genset na backup instead sa isang genset na nagloloko. Kaya, maaaring iMANUAL MODE na lang.

Nang MagloKo si GenSet

Kanina, pagkatest run ng genset, nag-alarm kaagad sa control panel. Ang dahilan o fault: UNDERVOLTAGE.
Paliwanag ng contractor: Ang AVR na to ay may problema, hindi sya nakakapag-generate talaga ng output kaya pagkaraan ng ilang segundo, pababa nang pababa ang BOLTAHE. ang nababasa nyong voltage na 80 V, 78V ay residual VOLTAGE na lang,
Ano yun??? hehehe
Solution:
I-adjust ang setting ng AVR, as suggested ng mga contractor? Well, di ko sure pero dapat siguro mas nagtroubleshoot pa sila.
Another Solution:
Ang main generator, lalo na pag nasa labas, ay kailangan icheck parati pag umuulan at masiguradong di nababasa. Tingnan kung ang AVR ay tuyo at walang naapektuhan dahil pag ang electrical parts ay nagkaroon ng problema, malaking gastos. Kung nagloloko pa din, tingnan ang terminal ng battery. Ang biglang pag-undervoltage habang pinapaandar ang genset ay maaaring epekto pa din ng loose connection sa battery.

In medium and smaller generators, a permanent magnet exciter is used to generate the current for field excitation. And, while permanent magnets do offer the most obvious form of residual magnetism, their magnetism is not dependent on generator currents, as implied by the earlier answerer. (nosebleed)
